Team Scotiabank takes on Team adidas in Owen Sound, ON as part of PWHPA’s Secret® Dream Gap Tour, with three additional games being played in Collingwood, ON on Jan 21-22.

TORONTO, ON – The PWHPA, Scotiabank, Secret® and Sportsnet today unveiled plans for a live national broadcast of a PWHPA game during the 2023 Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada festivities on Saturday, January 21. The tilt between Team Scotiabank and Team adidas will be played in Owen Sound, ON at Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre— home of the OHL’s Owen Sound Attack. The game will be broadcast live on Sportsnet at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT and features marquee players such as Rebecca Johnston and Blayre Turnbull representing Team Scotiabank, and Sarah Nurse and Kendall Coyne Schofield playing for Team adidas.

The game—in partnership with Sportsnet, Scotiabank, Secret® and The City of Owen Sound,—will also serve as a Secret® Dream Gap Tour regular season game. The PWHPA will also play three additional Secret® Dream Gap Tour regular season games at Eddie Bush Memorial Arena in Collingwood, Ontario on January 21 and 22. Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is Canada’s biggest annual single-day hockey celebration. Returning for its 23rd year, the 14.5 hour marathon broadcast features all seven Canadian NHL teams in action across Sportsnet, Sportsnet 360, Citytv, SN NOW, OMNI, and CBC. Hosted by Ron MacLean live from Owen Sound, Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada will also include a variety of special guests and features to promote the growth of inclusion and diversity in hockey as part of Scotiabank’s hockey for all initiative.

This season marks the third iteration of the Secret® Dream Gap Tour and comes as part of Secret Deodorant’s ongoing commitment to the PWHPA, underscoring their belief that equal sweat deserves equal opportunity.
